CNC OPERATOR Applicants should have the following qualifications: 2+ Years Experience in a Vertical or Horizontal Machining Center Environment; Ability to Read Blueprints, Use Micrometers, Calipers and a Variety of Gage Equipment, Make Own Offsets, Work Independently and Must be Quality Driven. Ability to Perform Own Set-ups is a Plus. CMM Programmer/Quality Technician Applicants should have the following qualifications: High School Diploma and 4+ Years Experience in a Vertical or Horizontal Machining Center Environment or A.A.S. Engineering Degree or Related Field; Experience Checking Parts Using Surface Plate and Layout Tools; Advanced Experience in Using CMM and in Writing, Debugging and Proving Out CMM Programs Using PC-Dmis; Experience in Working from CAD Models to Create PC-Dmis CMM Programs; Advance Math Skills; Advanced Print Reading Skills, Including GD & T; Gaging Use Skills (Specifically Thread Gages – Plus & Rings, Dial Bores, Height Gages, Calipers, & Micrometers); and SPC Knowledge & Experience. The following qualifications are not required but are a plus: Experience in Giddings & Lewis (Sheffield) Direct Inspect and/or MeasureMax; Machining Shop Experience Including CNC Machining; 6 Sigma Knowledge; ISO Knowledge & Experience; and ASQ Certifications = CMI, COT or COE.
